Eat plenty, as you have cut down many items. But choose carefully – discover some new recipes with fresh fruits and veggies, whole grains, legumes, nuts and seeds. Your diet should contain whole, organic, fresh and all-natural elements. If you have no time to cook, try some healthy salads with lots of protein. There is no harm in eating this 3-4 servings per day.
Take the advantage of longer nights and sleep more. Sound sleep helps in relax and restore energy in this cold winter.
Get active. By sleep I don’t mean get lazy. Take care that you are up and moving at shorter intervals. Avoid sitting continuously for long hours, or else you may feel knee and back pain quick. Little exercise on a regular basis keeps you energetic, improves thinking and free of weight gain.
When it’s cold outside, we don’t feel thirsty. And the result is less water and dehydration problem. So don’t forget to drink plenty of water. It helps digestion and purifies liver. Actually this is the key to keep our body safe from waste and toxins.
