How Wild Can You Wear Your Heels?

If designers take inspiration from something, they generally regenerate the original colors and skin-texture etc keeping in mind the traditional idea of acceptance. But here is a big difference. Israeli designer Kobi Levi creates high heels footwear in such a way that makes us spellbound. “The outcome of extreme imagination” we must name it. It’s no less than complete transformation of the shoe-world. The inspiration ideas are funny... quite interesting – banana, slide, birds, lazy dogs, blond ambition and so on.

In the words of the artist Kobi Levi - “In my artistic footwear design the shoe is my canvas. The trigger to create a new piece comes when an idea, a concept and/or an image comes to mind. The combination of the image and footwear creates a new hybrid and the design/concept comes to life. The piece is a wearable sculpture.”
