This is simply awesome! This Occasion not just make friends
happy, but keep your tummy healthy. Why I prefer making this is,
it’s non-fried, easy to make and delicious to taste. And specially good for festive season like Diwali, because we already eat too much deep-fried and high-sugar sweets, chocolates etc. So let’s try making some healthy option.
Ingredients
it’s non-fried, easy to make and delicious to taste. And specially good for festive season like Diwali, because we already eat too much deep-fried and high-sugar sweets, chocolates etc. So let’s try making some healthy option.
Ingredients
- 2 cups of finely crushed rice
- 3 cups of milk
- 1 cup of finely grated coconut
- ½ cup roughly broken groundnuts
- 1 cup sugar
For Stuffing
- Mix finely grated coconut, groundnuts and sugar in a heated frying pan.
Method
- Heat milk.
- Add a pinch of salt to the milk.
- Prepare dough by adding crushed rice to the boiling milk.
- Stir continuously and keep boiling until you get a thick dough.
- Keep the dough in room temperature and knead it by adding one spoon oil to make it softer.
- Make around 10 balls by rolling them with the help of your palms.
- Flatten each ball and place the stuffing in it.
- Close the flattened balls after putting the stuffing give them a rounded shape again. I flatten them a little to help cook better.
- Steam the stuffed balls for about10 minutes.
While
hot it may feel sticky, but tastes perfect when cood down. It can be stored in
refrigerator for 3-4 days. Enjoy!
Nice receipe..:)
